The benchmark FTSE 100 Index rose 19.3, or 0.3 percent, to
close at 6621.4 in London as 62 stocks rose, 39 fell and 1 was
unchanged. The FTSE All-Share Index gained 12.18, or 0.4 percent,
to 3438.7.
