U.K. Stocks Fall, Led by HSBC, HBOS Amid Subprime Concern; BP, Shell Drop

(Bloomberg) -- U.K. stocks declined, paced by HSBC
Holdings Plc and HBOS Plc on concern losses in subprime mortgages
in the U.S. will erode economic and earnings growth.

BP Plc and Royal Dutch Shell Plc also dropped.
