India's BSNL reconsiders GSM tender, seeks govt nod

(Reuters) - "We dwelt on all the options," Sinha said, but he declined
to give any further details.




In 2006, BSNL invited tenders for 45.5 million GSM lines,
and Ericsson and Nokia emerged as the two
lowest bidders at $107 and $176 per line respectively.

Roche, SAP, Ericsson Earnings, Germany's ZEW Index: European Week Ahead

(Bloomberg) -- Earnings from Roche Holding AG, the
world's biggest maker of cancer medicine, SAP AG, the largest
global maker of business-management software, and Ericsson AB,
the No. 1 maker of wireless phone networks, may move stock
markets next week.

Data on German investor confidence from the ZEW Center for
European Economic Research in Mannheim may also affect markets.

Nordic Stocks Increase, Led by Ericsson, Nokia; Shares of M-real Rally

(Bloomberg) -- Nordic stocks rose for a third day.
Nokia Oyj, the world's largest mobile-phone maker, paced gains.
Ericsson AB, the world's biggest maker of wireless phone
networks, also climbed.

M-real Oyj rallied after Morgan Stanley said Finland's
third-largest papermaker was its ``top pick'' in the industry.

Ericsson to sell Planet EV platform to CTS International

(Reuters) - Planet EV is a network planning platform for network
design, optimization and data management acquired by Ericsson
in 2006 along with other business assets from Marconi.
