Bear Stearns, Financials ETF, Emerging Markets: U.S. Equity Option Movers

(Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies
with unusual option trading in U.S. exchanges today. Stock
symbols are in parentheses after company names. Option trading
and stock prices are as of 4 p.m. in New York.

Each call option gives investors the right to buy 100 shares
of a company at a certain price, called the strike price, by a
given date. A put conveys the right to sell 100 shares.

Italy's Fiat latest foreign co to delist from NYSE

(Reuters) - MILAN, Aug 3 - Italian automaker Fiat said on Friday it planned to delist its stock from the New York Stock Exchange, the latest in a string of foreign companies to abandon the U.S. exchange this year.



Fiat has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to end its obligation to submit reports to the U.S. market regulator and would file for a delisting on Aug. 13, it said.

Australian Stocks Fall, Led by Macquarie on U.S. Subprime Mortgage Concern

(Bloomberg) -- Australia's benchmark stock index, the
S&P/ASX 200 Index, fell 0.44 percent at 10:05 a.m.

The index of 201 companies traded on the Australian Stock
Exchange fell 27.10 to 6,117.10. Among the stocks in the index,
25 rose, 96 fell and 80 were unchanged.

AmerisourceBergen and Kindred form PharMerica

(Reuters) - PharMerica will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "PMC." AmerisourceBergen and Kindred stockholders each will hold about 50 percent of the PharMerica shares, the companies said.

TREASURIES-Bond prices rise as stock market turns lower

(Reuters) - Bonds have been closely mirroring stocks recently, gaining
when stocks fall as investors turn to the relative safety of
bonds.




"Bonds are not leading, they are being led," said David
Ader, head of government bond strategy at RBS Greenwich Capital
in Greenwich, Connecticut. "Stocks were up and now they are
close to the lows of the day, while bonds were lower and now
they are higher on the day. It's not much more complicated than
that."

GLOBAL MARKETS-Stocks rally sharply as credit market calms

(Reuters) - LONDON, July 31 - Stocks around the world bounced
back sharply on Tuesday as volatile credit markets stabilised
and after Wall St took heart from still-brisk corporate earnings
growth and the smooth wind-up of another troubled hedge fund.




Europe's benchmark index rebounded after five
straight days of losses and gained more than one percent in the
first few minutes of trading. Bourses in London ,
Frankfurt and Paris added 1 percent or more.

Japan's Nikkei Drops, Paced by Nomura on Subprime Concern; Olympus Gains

(Bloomberg) -- Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average
slipped after Germany's IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG said losses
on subprime loan investments will ``significantly'' lower profits.

Brokerages such as Nomura Holdings Inc., with similar
investments, led declines on concern they will also be affected.

CNA, Dow Jones, Ingersoll, RadioShack, Rural Cellular: U.S. Equity Movers

(Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies
whose shares are having unusual price changes in U.S. exchanges.
Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names. Share
prices are as of 2:40 p.m. in New York.

Some mortgage lenders fell after American Home Mortgage
Investment Corp. (AHM US) delayed its quarterly dividend and
raised doubts about whether it has enough cash to stay in
business. Shares of American Home were halted.

U.S. Stocks Rise on Earnings; Archer Daniels, Humana Shares Advance

(Bloomberg) -- Stocks worldwide rebounded from a
$2.1 trillion sell-off after better-than-forecast earnings
eased concern that the U.S. housing slump will curb economic
growth.

Archer Daniels Midland Co., the world's largest grain
processor, and Humana Inc., the second-biggest provider of
U.S.-funded Medicare plans, climbed on profits that topped
analysts' estimates.

RPT-Bay Street Week Ahead - Offshore sirens beckon

(Reuters) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 29 - As foreign
takeovers and private equity buyouts strip the Toronto Stock
Exchange of some of its biggest names, institutional investors
are increasingly shifting their gaze outside Canada.




Those investors with mandates to invest domestically, such
as "pure" Canadian mutual funds, say they might at some point
ask their fundholders to let them rejig their limits so that
they too can follow their peers to greater choice offshore.

London Stock Exchange Says Record Number of Trades Made Today on Bourse

(Bloomberg) -- London Stock Exchange Plc, Europe's
largest exchange by the market value of companies listed, said a
record number of trades were made today on the bourse.

About 798,800 trades were made, 9 percent higher than the
previous record, LSE said, citing preliminary estimates. The
value of the trades was 13.42 billion pounds ($28 billion), just
shy of the record 13.47 billion pounds traded on February 28.

US STOCKS-Indexes sink on housing, oil, credit fears

(Reuters) - NEW YORK, July 26 - U.S. stocks tumbled on
Thursday on signs of further deterioration in the U.S. housing
market, a jump in oil prices and a worsening climate for
financing corporate takeovers.




The broad Standard & Poor's 500 stock index fell 2 percent
at one point, and the steep decline led the New York Stock
Exchange to impose trading curbs which restrict large-block
sales when a stock was falling.

Crude Oil Futures Fall From 11-Month High on Signs Rally Was Unjustified

(Bloomberg) -- Crude oil fell from an 11-month high
in New York on speculation prices have risen more than justified
by declining U.S. inventories.

U.S. supplies fell 1.1 million barrels to 351 million
barrels, leaving inventories 4.6 percent higher than a year
earlier. Stockpiles in Cushing, the delivery point for West Texas
Intermediate crude oil, or WTI, traded in New York, plunged 22
percent to 21.2 million barrels in the past nine weeks, according
to the Energy Department.

UPDATE 1-Tidewater 1st-qtr profit up, but shares tumble

(Reuters) - HOUSTON, July 26 - Tidewater Inc. , the
world's largest provider of vessels for the offshore oil
service industry, on Thursday said its first-quarter profit
rose as rates for its equipment climbed, but higher-than
expected costs hampered results.




Shares of Tidewater swooned, falling more than 8 percent,
or $6.53, to $70.37 in afternoon trade on the New York Stock
Exchange.

Crude Oil Rises Above $77 as Supplies Dwindle at Cushing, Oklahoma, Depot

(Bloomberg) -- Crude oil in New York rose above $77
a barrel and traded at a premium to Brent oil for the first time
since February after a glut in supplies at Cushing, Oklahoma,
disappeared.

Stockpiles in Cushing, the delivery point for West Texas
Intermediate crude oil, or WTI, traded in New York, plunged 22
percent to 21.2 million barrels in the past nine weeks, according
to the Energy Department. U.S. gasoline and heating-oil supplies
rose as refineries increased operating rates to 91.7 percent of
capacity for the same week, the highest in 10 months.

Brazil's stocks edge higher but currency slips

(Reuters) - The Bovespa index of the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange
ended up 0.37 percent at 56,001.30 points. The index, which hit
an intraday record high of 58,292.88 last Thursday, stumbled
for a second straight day on Wednesday before recovering.




Brazil's currency, the real , weakened 0.32 percent
to 1.867 per U.S. dollar, pressured in part by central bank
buying of dollars to build up foreign reserves.

TSX Group quarterly profit jumps 37 percent

(Reuters) - The company, which runs the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange, said net income was C$39.1 million in the three months ended June 30, or 57 Canadian cents a share. That was up from C$28.5 million, or 41 Canadian cents a share, in the same 2006 period.

PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA IJ): Indonesia's second-biggest
lender by assets said its second-quarter profit rose 5 percent from
a year earlier to 1.11 trillion rupiah ($122 million) helped by
increased lending to companies and consumers. The shares gained 100
rupiah, or 1.6 percent, to 6,400.

Delphi Financial still sees 2007 earnings of $3.15-$3.25/shr

(Reuters) - Shares of the company were up more than 6 percent at $41.21
in late morning trade on the New York Stock Exchange.
