(Bloomberg) -- The New York Mercantile Exchange,
the world's largest energy-futures exchange, said it will start
trading a Brent crude oil ``last day'' futures contract in an
effort to revive its trade in the North Sea oil.
``The first listed month will be the September 2007
contract month, beginning on July 29 for trade date July 30,''
the exchange said in an e-mailed statement today.
